The purpose of the Workforce and Caregiver Work Group is to provide guidance to the state agencies regarding long-term care workers. The work group focuses on training, re-education opportunities, decent wages, benefits, recruitment and retention efforts. It also focuses on the informal care system made up of family and friends who provide the majority of long-term care for older adults. For more information, contact Janice Cichowlas.
