  Conferences, Trainings, Events and Meetings

The Illinois Department on Aging provides comprehensive and contemporary educational offerings for aging service agencies. Many of the trainings offered by the Department are available for continuing education credits for nursing home administrators and social workers.

Training for Aging Network Staff:

  • PDF format Comprehensive Care Coordination and Community Care Program 2010
  • Elder Abuse and Neglect Program 2010


  CCP Procurement Training

  • Cook County Management Training, April 13-14, 2010, at the Marriott Chicago Northwest, Hoffman Estates. To register, fill out the registration form: Microsoft Word or PDF. NOTE: Only those providers who have been certified (approved application and on-site review) will be accepted into the training. Maximum registration is 100 attendees. It is recommended that each agency register at least 2 persons.

    A second training may be held May 11-12, 2020, for those unable or not yet qualified to attend the April dates. If large numbers are registered from a single agency for the April training, some of those registrants may be required to attend the May training as an alternative.
