The Illinois Department on Aging provides comprehensive and contemporary educational offerings for aging service agencies. Many of the trainings offered by the Department are available for continuing education credits for nursing home administrators and social workers.
Training for Aging Network Staff:
 Elder Abuse and Neglect Program 2013-
New Care Coordinator Certification Training and Care Coordinator Re-Certification Training 2012

Providers new to CCP will be sent the registration forms for New Provider Management Training upon approval of all applications and as a part of their Certification. No agency is allowed to attend without pre-approval from the Department. Registrations will be sent via e-mail for this bi-annual training.
Current Providers in need of their 3 year Renewal Training for continued certification will be sent the registration forms via e-mail. It is each agency's responsibility to assure they have received Renewal Training before their certification's expiration date. Four Renewal Trainings will take place to accommodate the certification needs of all 12 of the state's PSAs as follows:
- PSAs 8, 9, 10, 11
- PSAs 4, 5, 6, 7
- PSAs 1, 2, 3
- PSA 12, 13
