Continuing Education Information

All participants interested in obtaining continuing education credits (CEU) must visit the CEU table and sign in daily. Continuing education certificates are available free of charge.

Licensed Social Workers,
Clinical Social Workers,
and
Nursing Home Administrators: (12.75 clock hours) Certificates are available through the Illinois Department on Aging.

Registered Nurses: (12.75 contact hours) Continuing nursing education is provided by Oakton Community College, Alliance for Lifelong Learning, Continuing Education for Health Professionals (OCC/ALL/CEHP), accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Professional Counselors and
Clinical Professional Counselors: (12.75 clock hours) Certificates are available through Oakton Community College/ALL/CEHP.

Other Professional Groups: (1.275 clock hours) Oakton Community College also is providing Universal CEUs for other professionals. The CEU is a specific standard of measure of educational achievement under the criteria of the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET) to attest to clock hour completion of continuing education activities. This also will serve as a certificate of attendance. Interested participants must sign in at the CEU table in order to receive this certificate.
