Exhibit Hall

  • The 2008 Governors Conference Exhibit Hall will be located in the
    Chicago Ballroom Salon E
    Marriott Chicago Downtown
    540 North Michigan Avenue.


  • The hotel will receive and store exhibit materials prior to the conference for an additional charge, which is the responsibility of the exhibitor. If you wish to use this service, mail your materials to:

    Be sure your return address is clearly marked. Materials should not be received by the hotel more than 3 days prior to the conference.


  • The specific location of individual displays will be determined by conference staff. Specific exhibit locations will be designated by table signs. Conference staff will be available for your assistance.


  • Set-up time is from 12:00 - 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10. Please note: the package room will not be open until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday for retrieval of items mailed to the hotel.


  • The conference hotel rate is available for exhibitors.


  • Exhibitors need not pay a conference registration fee unless the exhibitor(s) plan to attend conference sessions and events.


  • Exhibit times are
    Wednesday, December 10, 4:30 - 7:00 p.m.,
    Thursday, December 11, 10:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and
    Friday, December 12, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

    The exhibit booth must be staffed continuously during these hours.


  • Tear down is 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 12.


  • Each exhibit will consist of a six-foot skirted table with two chairs. Electrical hook-ups are available for your exhibit space. However, note, this must be indicated on the Exhibitor Information form (see below).


  • All exhibits will be table-top displays unless other arrangements are made. Free-standing exhibits that use approximately the same area (6' x 10') may be used with special permission.


  • Exhibitors are responsible for their own display security. The exhibit area will be closed off each evening by non-stationary walls, which provide some security; but the walls do not lock.

To exhibit, fill out and deliver the Exhibitor Application by June 13, 2008.
